Dog roll please………The “Dog House Of the Month” for October is…. “The Legends” a development located in Monroe New Jersey.
Our homeowner graciously invited us into their home and we hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed our visit.
This home sits majestically at the end of Legends Drive. The homeowners take great pride in keeping the exterior of the home in pristine condition as well as the inside.
The Living Room has the perfect mix of traditional and eclectic pieces of furniture and art work. The bold sage green paint color coupled with the chenille sofa are warm and inviting and will relax the weary spirit.
Directly across the way is the large Dining Room that has hosted many elegant affairs. When asked about the interesting use of colors in the room as well as throughout the house the homeowner proudly announced “ I didn’t invent color, I simply perfected it”.
The Great Room calls out to all music lovers by serenading visitors with a self playing Baby Grande Piano that usually has Mozart’s Piano Concerto Number. 23 vibrating throughout the home. The wall of windows shows off the perfect back drop, whether it be the moonlit night or the bursting sun rising over the horizon.
The Kitchen is conveniently located next to the Great Room. The homeowners had it custom built this way to allow easy access for wine connoisseur’s to enjoy a glass from the owners extensive collection which is housed in the 500 bottle capacity wine cooler.
The Basement is a must for any man of the house.
Gentlemen, please note that you will never be bored with a finished basement such as this one! Whether it be working out in your state of the art gym or having the boys over for a game of pool, your company will never want to leave. Also note that the lower level houses a home theater that is in the finishing stages, complete with a ticket booth and a poker table section.
Overall, we absolutely give this home two paws up.

I wanted to take a moment to share this picture with all of you. Its message touched me in such a way that I wanted to show it off. Hopefully it will touch you in a profound way as well.
Last Thursday I was driving around Colts Neck going from one brokers open house to another. I was on Laird Road rushing, talking on my cell phone and just trying to get a deal done when out of the blue I noticed the above barn with the saying “Peace On Earth”. I pulled over to the side of the road and just took it all in. I don’t know about you, but in a time where I just wish I had an extra minute to just get one more task done on my to do list, the above message actually made me stop and think and just slow down.
It is quite breathtaking when viewed in person. The barn sits majestically on a beautiful property in Colts Neck and I wondered why the homeowners decided on this particular saying. Perfect I thought anyway.
Over the weekend I decided to go back and take a picture so that I may share it with others. As I pulled in to get a closer shot, the homeowner was pulling out. We started talking and she stated that it was her husbands idea to place the saying. She was as lovely as the saying itself.

I'm always sitting under my Mom's desk as she does her Real Estate work.
No one knows who I am so I thought I'd create this blog and introduce myself.
I am a 4 year old Pomeranian. I share my home with my sister Tinkerbell, who happens to be a 3 year old T.Cup Pomeranian.
T.Cup is just a fancy term for “midget”. Tinkerbell is 3lbs; full grown; I know, I know, how cute, right?
I live in Colts Neck New Jersey and my mom is Sarah Bandy, a Real Estate agent who works for Better Homes Realty, the Colts Neck office.
