I was out to dinner the other night with a few of my girlfriends when our attention turned to the beautiful women whom was engaged in some heavy(PDA) public displays of affection with a man that many would say was NOT attractive.
Surely a woman of her stature would date an Adonis type male.
I had to explain to the ladies that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
There are many reasons why we may be attracted to the opposite sex.
Who are we to say what the definition of beauty is?
Same holds true in the Real Estate world.
One of my clients recently asked me why the house down the street sold prior to her home selling?
To her surprise, the house down the street was not as beautiful as hers in her opinion and more expensive.
Although 
I agreed with her, unfortunately, beauty is not ours to define for others.
To that particular buyer, the worn down home has something that sparks their interest beyond physical beauty. The inside may be more important than the outside.
Now when I hear a seller wanting to up the price because they feel their home is better, nicer or more beautiful than those listed, I quickly tell the story of the not so attractive man.
Honestly, nothing beats a dose of humility and some good CMA’s.

The Colts Neck Community Church will be hosting a dinner and production of the musical Godspell to benefit the Ashley Lauren Foundation.

The Colts Neck Community Church will hold its legendary pancake breakfast on Saturday, November 15th from 9:00am till 12 Noon to support the Colts Neck Fire Department.
Pastor George T. Russ is dedicated to supporting the community and all donations from this event will go to the fire dept.

What to do when you get the itch to have New York City style food and fun but you don’t feel like trekking into the city?? Well, look no further than Teak, located in Red Bank New Jersey.
Although Teak is known for its Asian Flair, last Friday night it was transformed into a Latin house complete with an amazing Salsa band.
Of course you never know who you will bump into while on the dance floor.
It’s always fun to see other real estate agents as well as clients out enjoying the town too.
If you missed last weeks party, don’t fret. Teak has Merengue dancing on the second Friday of each month.
With the opening of the new Better Homes in Red Bank division about to make its debut, I get a feeling you will be seeing a lot more of me around town.

Where in the world is Sarah Bandy again??
Well technically I’m back from vacation but I just wanted to share some photos of my trip to Mexico.
I really had a wonderful time in Cancun and the hotel as well as the staff at The Hyatt Cancun Caribe were wonderful.
Another reason why I think it is fantastic to live in Colts Neck is the close proximity to all major airports.
Newark International Airport is approximately a 35 minute drive from Colts Neck, allowing easy access to the destination of your dreams.
After five relaxing days and a renewed spirit, I am back and ready to conquer the real estate market.

CNBA is a driving force for the Colts Neck community and has made a positive impact on Monmouth County as well.

Everyone LOVES a winner and the Colts Neck team is no exception.

Colts Neck Business Card Exchange: The Morning After

Last night’s business card exchange was a HUGE success.
The Colts Neck Business Association together with Carmine, owner of Rosalia’s Italian Market welcomed an overwhelming amount of business owners to this fun filled event.
It was delightful to meet so many individuals that are not only experts in their field but are also passionate about their profession.
Many stood out in the crowd and I appreciate all the new friends and meaningful conversations that transpired throughout the evening.
Everyone in attendance enjoyed music performed by Bullet Bob of The Colts Neck Custom Shop and song writer Joe Iantoska.
I feel honored to have received a private serenade by Joe and to have been moved by his original and touching love songs.
Thank you for that “Joe”, your wife is a very lucky woman.
CNBA meets the second Wednesday morning of each month at the Colts Neck library.
